Can I set voices within a layered performance to not receive sustain pedal control?

Hi, I’m using a piano and strings layer and do not want the strings voice to be sustained by the sustain pedal. I can’t find an option to achieve this which is frustrating, when my CP33 stage piano has this feature. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ed,
You posted in the reface Forum. You mention you have CP33 that does what you want, but you have failed to give us a clue as to which keyboard you are asking about.

Sorry, I thought I was in an S90XS room! That’s the board I’m using.

Yes, you can choose, on a per Part basis, which Controller messages are received by each Part.

It is actually called the RECEIVE SWITCH.

We assume, because you also didn’t mention, that your layer is in PERFORMANCE Mode... with separate Parts for the Piano and the Strings... if yes, then good! Here’s how to set the Receive Switches for a Part:

From Performance Mode
Press [EDIT]
Select the number 1, 2, 3, or 4 to select the String Part > Enter
Select “Rcv Sw” > Enter
Here you will find On/Off Switches for each physical controller.. find Sus and set it to Off

Press [STORE] to update your Performance.
