I,

Firstly I would like to say that I'm french and my english is not very well! 🙂 I try to get some tutorial in french but unfortunatly its just in english! I will try to explain my troubles.

We bought CP4 recently for our Church and we have some issues with storing performances. I check the manuals and do what its suppose to do for save it. The performances are stored only the time that the piano is turn on, but, when I turn it off and use it later, all my performances are erased ! So, everytime I have to do it again. I suppose that we can keep it into the piano ? Its suppose to be a basic fonction, no? So I read the information about that (p.9,12 and 30...) and do it but I dont understand why it does not work... Maybe its because it is store with Edit buffers (p.12) Its temporary, but how can I store in the user memory??

Would you please help us to understand how it work ? I did what they told in the manual ( store - enter- yes etc...) But its always temporary... I would like to get some help please!

I hope that you understand my poor english! ... 🙂

Do you have services in french? 😀

Thank you very much!

Please see the bottom of page 48-49 in the REFERENCE MANUAL:

PowerOn Auto
vos besoins.

sur « off ».

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PowerOn Auto
This parameter is used to enable (“on”) or disable (“off”) automatic restoration of User Memory to its
default condition whenever the stage piano is turned on. Use the [-1/NO] and [+1/YES] buttons or
the Data Dial to select “on” or “off” as required. Normally, PowerOn Auto should be set to “off”. In
addition, this parameter’s setting is automatically stored when the Factory Set function is executed

NOTICE
If you set PowerOn Auto to “on” before executing the Factory Set function, the function will then execute
automatically whenever you subsequently turn on your stage piano. As this can result in the loss of
important settings and data, we recommend that this parameter normally be set to “off”. If you change the
PowerOn Auto setting from “on” to “off”, you must execute the Factory Set function in this condition to
store the new setting.

You do NOT want to reset your unit on each Power up so you must:
Turn the PowerOn Auto function = OFF.
