Hello!

I just got my reface CS. It is all I expected, really compact and delivering an amazing sound 😀

Here is the trouble:
while using headphones or the built-in speakers everything seemed normal. However, as soon as I plugged in a jack into L mono output to make the reface sound through an external speaker, no sound is coming off those external speakers and on top of that the built in speakers keep on working...
Any suggestion what I could do hopefully not getting a replacement :p

I used normal jack jack cables to connect the reface and the external speakers-monitors. ---> Planet Waves PW-CGT-20

Thanks!!

Jesús

Plugging a cable into the reface Output does not turn off the speakers. So that much is normal.

The reface needs powered speakers. Simply plugging into a speaker will not work. Now maybe you mean a powered speaker but you didn't say powered speaker... so we have to ask what else have you plugged into these external speakers?

That is what I meant yes.

In order to plug the reface into the Speakers (which are a Hi-Fi system speakers --> ( ), I used;

-a normal jack - jack cable --- Planet Waves PW-CGT-20 -->

-a 3.5mm Jack Plug to 6.35mm Socket Adapter - Premium Quality - 24k Gold Plated - Male to Female - Audio - Adapter - Stereo -->

-a 3,5 mm Jack to RCA Coaxial Audio Stereo Adapter -->

I used L/Mono output from the reface and it is connected to the IN aux. RCA of the Hi Fi system.
All components are fully working.

Thank you in advance!
