Can I assign different pedal effect to each part?

I'd like to use my volume pedal only on one of the 3 parts, with the other 2 parts OFF. Is this possible? When I assign with one of the parts selected they all get the same effect.

You can disable the foot pedal for the parts. Is this what you want?

PERFECT! Thanks for finding that article. I never saw any references to the "Receive SW" controller (what does SW mean anyway?). Now I do see it briefly mention the pedals on page 31 of the manual. Not exactly intuitive! This works fine for letting me play a bass line with my left hand while controlling organ volume for the right hand.

'Receive SW' -> Receive Switch - later models have dozens of 'switches' that can be set to control both receive and transmit of various parameters.

To see how far things have progressed from the CK models take a look at the graphic on p.301 of the Montage M doc -

There are ON/OFF switches for many of the front panel switches and knobs that let you control FOR EACH PART just how they interact with other components.

That is great as far as giving the user more control over things. But it can be a real pain when a preset is doing something weird and it is because of some switch like that buried deep in the menus somewhere.

Not exactly intuitive!

I  think that falls into the 'understatement' category!

That's awesome. That's exactly what I'm experiencing.
