The sounds will be located on the Modx M6 in the same place they were located on the Modx6. If they were in a library they will still be in a library and if they were in your user 'Performances' folder they will still be in it.

1. If your sounds are in a library on the Modx6 just use the same USB stick the library is on and plug it in to the Modx M6.

2. On the Modx M6 go to the Utility->Contents->Load screen and select 'Library File' and then choose your USB stick and the library that has your sounds.

3. If your sounds are in the user 'Performances' folder go to the Utility->Contents-Save screen and select 'User File' and save the file to your USB stick.

4.  Plug the USB stick into the Modx M6 and do step #2 but select 'User File' to load the file.

5. CAUTION - EVERYTHING in your user area on the Modx M6 will be overwritten when you load the user file so if you have user 'stuff' on the Modx M6 already you will need to save it first.

Hi, congratulations for your new MODX M, to retrieve all the content of your MODX in easy way, just save a backup file, it contain all in one file.

By loading library's one by one, you cannot been sure that they take place exactly in same slot than on your MODX and it can be a problem if you are using library's parts using user waveforms or arp, or if you have live slots in user area pointing to library performances. So use the backup file.

Here is my video about how to do it, done on MODX+, it work in the same way on MODX:

Then load the backup file on your MODX M, here is my video record on Montage M, it work in the same way on your MODX M:

Hope that's help

Ps all my Montage M videos apply to the MODX M, do not hesitate to check if other topics can interest you on my Montage M playlist.
