I have the same questions one of the online responders ask. 

The video shows velocity being used 0-84 to get one bass sound and 85-127 to get a different bass sound. Is it possible to use a different mechanism to do the switch? Maybe XA control in combo with an assign switch? Or use 2 scenes?

Also - you mention superknob being used to switch from push to pull sounds. Is it a blended switch or just a binary push or pull?

Technically, everything within the synth engine capabilities is possible to be changed, but I think velocity is the easiest way to swap bass and chords in your left hand, really.
The Assign Switches are used to change the right-hand register (sound) on all performances for Accordion 1 and some of Accordion 2, and scenes are used to change patterns on the Arp performances or change the right-hand register on the rest of Accordion 2 performances, so that functionality is already occupied and I tried to keep the controllers consistent among all of the performances.
Also, all of the Arpeggio auto-accompaniment is based on velocity switching.
And more, using velocity allows you to actually hold a chord and play a bass line at the same time with your left hand only 🙂 
What I can suggest, is to tailor the velocity response to your taste by changing the part velocity curve.

About the Super knob - it is indeed blending the two samples, for what I could do as the most naturally sounding effect. The video has a dedicated part showing this effect.
