Hi dear all, my new Moessieurs tutorial video is online: Mastering Montage M & MODX M AN X Synthesis part 1 [ Waveforms and tones (EN & Subtitles)

In this video, I explain how you can modify the basic AN-X waveforms quickly and easily, using an oscilloscope for a better understanding.
You will see how to Navigate and Work with Oscillators and Noise, Adjusting Oscillator Levels, Changing Oscillator's Pitch, Making the Oscillator Respond to Velocity, what Invert setting is about, Playing with multiple pscillators and how does my waveform react When i change the octave

That video apply too for the MODX M and ESP too of course.

Don't miss this video to learn how to sculpt your AN-X waveforms.

La version française de cette vidéo est ici : https://youtu.be/sVqdqr9fTtI

That video is in English with subtitles fully edited. Activating subtitles fully edited can enhance your understanding to translate in any other language.
You have also You Tube Automatic voicer other in several language like German Spanish, Italian, Polish, and much more, activate the dedicate audio track if your are not familiar with English.

Have a nice evening ♫

Another nice video!

You did a good job showing the appropriate AN-X screens because that info is scattered all over the place and can be hard to find.

The Navigation Button is a good starting point but, oddly, it doesn't actually show the entire routing for a part.

Can I suggest you do a follow-up AN-X video for the 'Edit Part 1->Filter / Amp -> Mixing' screen as shown on p.421 of the "en_v300_K0' operation doc?

That screen shows:

1. all 3 oscillators

2. noise generator

3. FM and Ring mode settings

4. Connect info (Filter/Amp) for all 4 generators

5. Routing for Modifier, Filter 1, Filter 2 and Amplifier.

For us the navigation screen isn't nearly as detailed. It doesn't show both filters or the actual routing of the modifier, filters

and amp.

Some of our users don't understand that although there are two filters, connected in series, on the control assign screen there is only ONE param available for things like 'cutoff, resonance, etc'.

You then get a set of switches for each filter to 'opt in' or 'opt out' so that you can control each filter separately.

See p.423 - on that 'Filter type' screen you can manually make settings for Cutoff, Resonance, etc for each filter. But on the control assign screen there is only ONE 'cutoff' selection.

Unfortunatelyl the doc doesn't show an example for a filter destination that shows the 'opt in/out' filter switches.

Congrats on the video.
