Hi, I se that Yamaha Steinberg update the USB driver about a interval of 2 year, so we have to wait 1 year to next update? Yamaha Steinberg USB driver update 3.1.7 at 2024.05.17

3.1.3 was Sep 2022 and 3.1.4 was Dec 2022.  So maybe/maybe not.

If the driver is otherwise stable there isn't a need to update except when new hardware comes out.   Not saying this is always the case but may explain the lag between releases.

Whatever problems are out there could be driver related or not.  Maybe firmware.  Maybe OS.  Maybe application software.  Maybe documentation (i.e. how to properly set up everything).

I think those you mention is a exception. If I have read data that been publish so perhaps Montage M is compatible with Yamaha Steinberg Usb driver 3.1.7 but Yamaha Steinberg Usb driver 3.1.7 is not compatible
Tahoe !6. I hope it is so

Music workstations generally need to trail bleeding edge operating systems since it takes a while for music companies to catch up and create stable environments for their equipment.  This is a generic statement that applies to most any electronic music device that interfaces with a computer.

If you have a mixed use computer - then you may be between a rock and a hard place.  But if it's dedicated then I would backup everything, wipe the drive, and install an earlier OS then in-place upgrade once there is confirmation that it's safe to move on.  And likely by that time there will be a newer OS than Tahoe -- so don't upgrade to the latest at that time but just go a step at a time keeping n-1 (at least) until it's widely accepted that the later OS is stable.  Even brand new systems that come preinstalled with Tahoe can be downgraded by erasing everything and starting over (backup first if desired).

I understand this may or may not work for you.

Hi,
I had a backup of Mac OS 15.6 so I installed that yesterday and the only difference that was happing was that Cubase react on DAW Remote command but that was i Generic mode. In Vender mode the audio input was not present and DAW Remote don’t work either with Cubase or Logic.
