Hello,
I own a Motif XF8 purchased in 2011. Recently, I updated the operating system to version 1.50 successfully (the update showed 100% erase and 100% write). However, after performing the Factory Set job from the Utility menu, the preset voices are still not correct. For example, PRE 2 A01 shows the wrong name “Roundabout" instead of "Vintage ’74” and also plays the wrong sound (“Roundabout”).
It seems that the internal Factory Set is not restoring the full factory waveforms and voice mappings. From what I understand, Yamaha provides an “All Factory Data” file in **.X3A** format that can be loaded from USB to restore all factory voices and performances.
Could you please provide me with the official **Motif XF All Factory Data (.X3A)** file, or direct me to the correct Yamaha download page where I can get it?
Best regards,
Ahmed
Was the 'Factory Set' selection set to 'All' on the Utility Job screen? See p.231 of the reference manual

When this is set to on, pressing the [ENTER] button will
restore all the data of this synthesizer’s User memory (page
34) to the factory default settings (Factory Set).
When this is set to off, pressing the [ENTER] button will
restore only the following data to the factory default
settings: All the Voices (A01 – H16) of the User Bank 1
(USR1) and Voices A01 – A08 of the User Drum Bank
(UDR).
Settings: on, off
The data list for Motif XF associated with firmware version 1.50 shows Roundabout is indeed (Voice) PRE 2 A01.
