Greetings, is it possible to access my Soundmondo account when traveling with ESP installed on my laptop or do I have to physically connected to the Montage M?

Yes - it is possible but not directly. FYI - Yamaha's forum was down for several weeks so your original post in this forum and the Montage forum likely never got noticed. The 'Recent Posts' list of threads only has ~10 of the newest replies and many viewers never look past the first page.
You need to create a virtual MIDI port (using a loopback driver) on your pc, enable that port in your DAW. Then in the DAW create a track using the ESP.
The Web MIDI API will then send data to the virtual port which will get looped back to the DAW and then fed to the ESP.
You didn't say if you are using Apple or Windows. Not sure but we think there is already an IAC Driver on mac that can do the loopback.
On Windows you will need to download a loopback driver.
