Broken Forum: How To See "Hidden" Replies

I don't expect anyone to go through the hassle - but if you really wanted to see replies to messages that are currently are in some kind of limbo (hidden), then pull up a chair and follow a lot of steps.

1) First, open the thread you want to dig for hidden replies.

2) Second, above the first post in the thread is a banner. Click on the three dots.

3) After you click on the dots, a list of the first page of replies will show in a list with short summaries of each post. The first post is at the top and then all replies are in a "tree" below. Third, click on the blue text summary of the message you want to read.

4) After clicking on this text a popup will appear with the message, full formatting, and any inline graphics. I assume that actual file attachments won't show - but pictures that show up in the middle of a message ("inline" ) will show up. Scroll up and down for longer messages using the scroll bar on the right.

5) Some message have lots of replies. Not shown - but the bottom of the list of replies with summaries will have some mention of showing more results and you can click on that to get the next "page" of replies. Sometimes there are many many pages.

This is a sort-of workaround but certainly still a huge hassle.

Hoping for a fix soon.

Stereo vs Mono Output for Live Sound

I play out regularly with the CP88 and Montage 6 using stereo outputs and panning left right in the mains. I've read that a lot of people recommend mono for live performance. Many of my custom sounds (especially on the Montage) have some sort of stereo imaging. Curious what Yamaha and the Forum Members would recommend for live sound.

Hi Blake, I love my Montage M7. My main problem with it Is that I tour with musicals. Many of our patches are on MainStage. Currently to control these, I’m having to use a Korg nano because my Yamaha doesn’t send out CC information from the sliders and knobs. I hope that this is addressed in 2.0. It seems that this is a normal function of most keyboards. Thanks , Jamie

Can’t sign in on these forums using Edge browser

I have tried many times to sign into my account on these forums using the Edge browser on my ipad but it won’t accept my username and password.

If I type the same username and password using the Safari browser it accepts it.

On the Edge browser it just redisplays the login dialog with the fields cleared as if I’d typed it in wrong.

Problems signing into ideascale?

Anyone else having an issue signing into ideascale? For me, I see the image of the log-in screen, but the entire screen is dimmed and inactive (I can see the fields where I'm supposed to type email address and password, but I can't click into them to enter anything). See attached...

The Yamaha-Stenberg USB drive downloads

The Yamaha-Stenberg USB drive downloads on my iMac OS Monterey, but when I install it there's nothing there. I just get an "about Steinberg USB Drive" box when I try to open it. And my application folder shows only a few hundred Kilobytes of data, not the 5MG the program is supposed to take.

It thinks every click is a press of the "create new post" button. Meaning it's impossible to read threads, as any click only permits doing this... creating a new post.
