Hello again, I have my patch setup with my 4 voices but i need to add a wind chime to (1) key so that i can complete the patch. How can I do this when the motif only gives me (4) voices. 2. Can I assign the wind chime to a pedal?

Can I assign the wind chime to a pedal?

No. there is no Wind Chime pedal Input jack! 🙂

We presume by "patch" you are referring to Performance mode - since you state you are limited to four.
You can copy your Performance to a MIXING program (Song or Pattern mode) where you are limited to sixteen Parts.

You will need to set all the Parts you want to play simultaneously to the same MIDI Receive Channel.
Find a blank Song or Pattern
Press [MIXING]
Press [JOB]
Press [F3] COPY
Press [SF3] PERF
Select your Performance and mark the attributes you wish to Copy
Target Parts 1-4
Press [ENTER] to execute

Edit this MIXING setup so all Parts are set to receive on MIDI CHANNEL 1
Add your fifth Part to Part 5
Set it's channel to Channel 1

ALTERNATE METHOD
Alternatively if you have a Wind Chime sound isolated to one key, you can place it in a Drum Kit (assuming one of the four Parts is a drum kit, if it is not... then you can't use this alternate method.
