I was wondering if they have a utility that will allow me to convert my old (original motif classic) songs and patterns and use them on the XF.

The universal file format for moving sequence data from one device to another is the Standard MIDI File format (.mid). You have the option of saving your Motif Songs as .mid, and you have the option of saving each Pattern Section as a .mid. These can be loaded by most any Sequencer or DAW, including the XF.
