Hi,
I have a weird problem with my Mofx8 keys.

Basically every place I go i'm getting complaints by the people who handle the sound that the volume output of my keys is extremely weak.
I got the complaint in all the rehearsal places and places I performed, so it's certainly a problem with the keys.

I already went to UTILITY to check if the volume is 127 (which it is) and also checked if the output DB was at max (which it is at 6db).
Basically I'm curious if it's a problem with all the yamaha mofx keys or if maybe i was sold keys that have this specific problem.

Anyone having a similar problem?

The MOXF8 is the best selling workstation/music production synthesizer on the market. More likely is something else. The MOXF should be connected to your sound system by standard TS signal cable, it has unbalanced outputs.

The output level can be measured. Call the Customer Support desk, they should be able to help you.

My mofx is connected to the sound systems I'm using with a standard TS signal cable so I don't think that's the issue.

Is the only solution calling Customer support desk?
If so how do I get in touch with them?

To be honest, I was thinking of just going to the store in which I purchased these keyboards and ask if they're maybe malfunctioning.

Would appreciate your opinion on the matter.

Thanks!

No, but they would be able to talk you through testing the outputs.

You can take it to your dealer, they should be able to determine what is going on, you could take it to an authorized Service Center. I just mentioned the phone call because it is probably the quickest, easiest solution that would cause you the least inconvenience.

We are not sure where you are located so getting in touch would require you look the phone number up... look in the last page of your Owner's Manual.
