Is there a way to turn on Eff A or B via the FC 1 or 2 ? I have an FC5 hooked up but cant do it ??

You can assign Eff A or B to the ASSIGNABLE FOOT SWITCH jack and turn the Effect on or off with (for example) a Yamaha FC4 or FC5 foot switch.
The setting is in EDIT > PART > CONTROLLER > FS (choose Eff A or Eff B).
The FOOT CONTROLLER 1 and 2 jacks are for an FC7 foot controller, not FC4 or FC5 foot switches, and can be used to control Volume or Eff A or B parameter (+ or -, not on or off).
The setting is in EDIT > PART > CONTROLLER > FC1/FC2.
