How do I make the midi changes stay when I power the unit off?

I am trying so hard to get my CP to hold the OMNI OFF setting, but no matter how many times I send CC124, OMNI come back after I power the CP off. I could really use some help here.

And I figured it out.

Pro Tip: ALWAYS READ THE UPDATED MANUAL AFTER THE YOU UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE!

I feel like an idiot.
