Is there any easy way to clear name, category and settings in my User Banks from voices I previously loaded but no longer load or want. They always display regardless of whether their audio sample is loaded. Seems like the only way is to write over them, i.e. replace them with another voice. I loaded the voices from the Sound Library which only populated User 1 and wrote over the remaining Factory Set returning mostly blanks to User 2. Therefore I am thinking it must be possible to write/ load/ return individual user bank locations to blank....... If so, what's the easiest way to remove the data in my user banks for my discarded (unloaded) user voices?

There is no removing VOICE data - the parameters are always there. You can overwrite them with new data. That is the easiest way - load something else into those locations.

I just updated my firmware and Motif returned to FACTORY SET performances and masters. Can I delete all those files? I don't need them and they seem to be using up so much memory that I don't even have enough room on SMART MEDIA card to create a AUTOLOAD for the few patterns I am working on.......

If you have updated your firmware you do not have to keep the UPDATER file.
