... I'm willing to pass on your request but have no details about your system to pass along.
Other than its a 13" Windows laptop. Running 3.1 I presume? πŸ™‚
What resolution is your display set for?

Is there a way to resize the editor?

I'm running windows 10 - at 1920 x 1080

My old eyes are having a hard time! - If I could make it larger that would be great!

As I understand it, there is no such option within the program itself (?),
so to make it bigger you have to change the resolution of the computer screen/desktop.

IΒ΄ve found a compromise setting on my computer where the editor screen is big enough
for my taste and still not too bad resolution of the text/graphics.

However if you could do this in the editor software itself, it would of course be the best.

Or maybe there is some software out there, maybe freeware if youΒ΄re lucky, that can do
exactly this- resize/change resolution of a programs "screen" only, without changing the
resolution of the whole system. Try some Googling... πŸ™‚

HavenΒ΄t had the time yet to check it out though....

Hello!
Bad Mister, thx for your help, my setup is:

1) PC Windows 7x64 (1680x1050 resolution) Monitor 22"
2) Laptop Windows 10x64 (1366x768 resolution) Monitor 13"

Gris, thx for your help. I have test all programs, but they don't work with the moxf editor! I think we need the help of developers from Yamaha!;) πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Hi! When should we expect the new MOXF6/MOXF8 Editor Standalone / VST V1. 7 for Windows with fullscreen mode?

Sorry, you must have received some false information or are just starting rumors based on your own "wish list" (I get it but posting like this will get misquoted and you'll have people say "I heard that at 1.7.x they are going to have Full Screen mode". Should we forward all queries to you! πŸ™‚

But no announcement about future updates of the Editor have been made. I'm not a computer geek but I don't see many VST3 plug-ins that have a full screen mode. Usually the graphic interfaces are never in Full Screen mode, and if they are it does not change the size of the basic work area, it simply places a blank area on the rest of the screen.

Resizing apps with Windows 10 actually does work, not sure why your computer is not able to, again I'm not a Windows tech person, but I was able to resize the Editor rather easily. Yes, as mentioned above you are changing the resolution of your computer display... But if the goal is to see, this will solve your problem.

Oh.. my..god...

Please tell me this is NOT the final version of the MOX F8 editor, that I have just opened up? Im using a Mac Book Pro 2015 Retina and Im sorry but I dont want to have to wear microscopes strapped to each eye ball JUSt to use this software. Can the 15 year old developer who came up with the bright idea of the worlds first nano scale text interface please get a text or window adjustment option into this software as forcing the rest of humanity to wreck their eysight for the sake of very bad GUI programming is just not an option.

I'll mention this to Mark, Dusty, Robert and as many others as possible when I next see them. But come ON guys. What were you thinking? Is anyone with clout READING these forums??

Agreed. The UI / Window needs to be resizable!

Changing screen resolution is not an option as everything gets blurry and that's hard on the eyes too.

To be honest, it's so unusable right now it's easier to dig through the screens on the MOXF itself rather than using the editor.

It is now January 8 2017. The MOXF Editor screen resolution is still UNUSABLE.
Please please please upgrade the app.

I recently bought a new laptop and now have the same problem. Please Yamaha update the editor.

Considering how powerful the editor is, the font size was indeed a very unfortunate choice as it pretty much crushes much of it's potential. I can see how reworking the interface may not be a simple task - quite a few custom controls in there - but if I may make a suggestion..

I have been using the editor on a touch screen for well over a year (running 1080 on a 22 inch screen) - the buttons and dials are still usable (with some practice), graphic displays also still clear even at this resolution. It is mainly the text that is very difficult to read, which I dare guessing is actually the easier part to fix.

A fully responsive interface would make justice to the instrument and be in line with the technology invested and the advanced implementation steps Yamaha has already taken, but even a limited fix - like increasing the font size a bit and spacing out the elements, would be welcome. There's always space for improvement of course, but I think this issue is unfortunately a bit more than simple aesthetics, and hopefully some strain releasing update is not completely out of the question.

It's now May of 2017!

Has anyone figured this out? The moxf8 stand alone editor as well as Cubase AI and some of its windows are friknly ridiculously small.

It has rendered all of the software useless. Windows are not resizable and there appears to be no tools to manage this.

I have windows 10 with the latest updates, and am using on a surface pro 4.

WTF? do I need to reinstall windows 95 or is it 3.1 just so your programmers can keep up?

Hi everyone!
I found a fix that works for me on Windows! It doesn't let you resize the window manually, but let's the computer automatically adapt the resolution of the window to your display.
I have a 14 inch laptop with a 2K resolution display and the windows were way to small to be usable. Now they are even a little too big, but after I hide the taskbar to get that little extra space it's perfect!
I've attached screenshots so you can see how it worked for me. Here are the links to the fix
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UijLRNQ6N7Q
http://www.danantonielli.com/adobe-app-scaling-on-high-dpi-displays-fix/
if for some reasons those link do not work, try googling something like "windows rescale high DPI manifest".

Good luck!
