Importing legacy Pfs not perfect

Hello - having imported the 512 Motif XF Performances and running through them, my Montage froze on two occasions, requiring a shut-down and re-start to rectify the problem. I use an external monitor, and after the second re-start the screen had compressed, with a wide black band across the bottom - as in days of yore! Not knowing what else may go wrong, I have abandoned the Motif XF library as potentially dangerous.

The external monitor is unsupported. If I was using an unsupported feature - even one that's been working "OK" - I'd scale down my configuration to exclude the unsupported feature and see if the problem still exists. At least then you can report, if it still exists, what steps anyone can take to try to reproduce. Because a minority of users are going to have your unsupported setup which reduces the chance of community support / verification.

Hello Jason - yes, the external monitor is a happy accident that Yamaha should have thought of but didn't, so not complaining about the glitch, just a warning to others who are using an external monitor that they may have problems, at least with Motif XF Pfs, I propose to try 'Easy Sounds' new Legacy series, which are optimised for Montage, in hope that said optimisation will have corrected the glitch ... born optimist, me ... no way I'm voluntarily going back to that tiny screen after the luxury of the Dell ...

It's unknown from what you've reported if the same problem (freezing) would occur without the external monitor.
