First post, really love the MX49. The organs generally sound really good and the leslie rotary effect is passable. However, I'd like a little more control over the tone and I have an external controller with 9 drawbars. I was thinking about mapping those to individual drawbar elements in the organ patches but I cannot seem to find the MIDI control info for those parameters. Has anyone had an experience trying this?

To address individual Element Levels in the MX your controller would need to send System Exclusive messages. If it can let us know we can lookup the messages necessary for you.

Thanks for your reply. The controller is the Roland A-800 Pro. The docs state it can send sysex commands but I need to map that in the software. Anyways, I hope I am not being presumptuous but it seems you are suggesting I can access each of the 9 drawbar tones on the organ patches? If so, that would great news and I appreciate you looking up the messages that access those for me.

There are 8 Elements in an MX VOICE, not nine. What normally is done is the 16' and the 8' are paired together.

Element 1 = 16' + 8'
Element 2 = 5 1/3'
Element 3 = 4'
Element 4 = 2 2/3'
Element 5 = 2'
Element 6 = 1 3/5'
Element 7 = 1 1/3'
Element 8 = 1'

F0 43 10 7F 17 41 ee 1A dd F7

where "ee" is the Element 00-07
where "dd" is the Level 00-7F

The Voice with this layout is called "AllBarPerc"

Excellent, I will give that a go and report back. I can live with 16' + 8' together, since they normally are set the same even on my Hammond. Judging by the name of the voice, I should also be able to turn percussion on off, can I also select the harmonic? If this information is in the manual, I can continue to investigate on my own, if you can point me to the section.
Thanks for your help,

You could reprogram the 1' drawbar to be your percussion (same as on the mighty B3) see the DATA LIST for available Waveforms.
