Hello,

I have MOX8 88 keys. After 1 month of use mono channel starts clipping and producing hissing sound when I play. When I connected monitoring headphones to balanced output I can hear that right channel is working totally fine but left one sometimes does not work at all (no sound) or produces hissing sound or clipping.

I was googling this and found that some ppl have the same problem but there was no solution provided. Is there any quick solution?
Do you know how Yamaha warranty support works? Will they send you a box so you can pack the synthesizer and send it to them?

Thank you.

When I connected monitoring headphones to balanced output

What balanced output? The outputs are unbalanced. Even though headphones use a TRS connector - they are still unbalanced. A balanced TRS connection has a single channel running through it while the unbalanced TRS headphone connector is two channels (left and right) unbalanced.

Therefore, I'm not sure what you're doing given I cannot match the equipment with your description.

That doesn't mean there isn't something wrong with your board - but it would help to clear up the discrepancies.

TRS to the stereo headphones socket - that is what I connected.
Support finally contacted me and said to bring the board to the service center.

Well, in the whole city there was just 1 service center and it does not accept electronics =/
They sent me to another location and.... this location does not do warranty fixes.
Even having the warranty and just 1 month of use the only option is to fix it with 3rd-party and not for free, gosh.
