I'm sorry to harp on about this (I looked for previous questions, but nothing relevant came up). When I'm in music mode, I use auto-accompaniments (Tyros style) and thought I could emulate this on the Montage using Arpeggios. To do that I need to be able to audition them. The Reference Manual assures me there are 50 sub-categories spread through 18 main categories. Great! But it doesn't say where to find them. Neither does the Owner Manual, apart from hearing 8 via the C1-8 That appears to be it. The C1-8 buttons always switch off the 'Arp On' button, by the way.

Ideally, I should be able to select an Arpeggio Category and a Sub-category (depending on the music I'm attempting) and go through the offerings until I find one that best matches what I'm doing. Then split the keyboard and select Performances, and away I go. How do I get to the Arpeggios to audition them please? AL:L of them - just 8 is of no use in this scenario! I'm sure Bad Mister (or Phil) pointed me in a direction which yielded a slightly less restricted choice, but the 'Search' function failed to find it, so apologies for repeat. Or is what I want to to do impossible on Montage? If it is, can it be added?

Hi Rod.
Like i have answer, the arpeggio search view is the way to select and choose arpeggios :

https://www.yamahasynth.com/forum/are-arp-tutorials-coming-solved

To listen an arpeggio, : select one in the arpeggio in the category search view, press a chord or a note on the Montage Keyboard to listen how it "sound".

There is no "audition" arpeggio function.

Be sure that Arp Master and arp part are set to "on" to listen the arp you test.

Hello Joel - thank you - sorry for repeat - and I remember it now! Why didn't it come up in the 'Search' function, I wonder? Anyway, it was the very first thing - 'Edit' - that I could not remember and never thought of! I pressed everything else! Montage speak with forked tongue ... cheers!
