I just spent several hours auditioning every Voice in the Motif XS rack and have added 128 of the Voices to the "Favorites" category. My intent is to use the 'favorite' voices for live performance shows and to recall each 'favorite voice' via Midi Program Change.

Question: After calling-up the Favorites category, is there a way "lock" the Favorite category so that only voices in the Favorites list will respond to program changes?
Otherwise, program changes makes the Motif jump out of Favorites category to some other category.

The only temporary fix I see is designate one of the USER Banks as a storage location for Favorite voices. But, then I loose (or have to overwrite)128 USER voice locations.

Please tell me there is good-news and there is a quick fix for this.

thanks,

Since all the User Voice locations are repeats of the Factory Presets (place holders) they are meant to be overwritten- that is their purpose. Place your versions of the Presets in your order in your User Bank. That is what they are designed for!

Is there a way to quickly copy all Favorites to a USER bank?

What's purpose of the Favorites List if the list can't be utilized for live performance?? It would be like assembling the perfect football team from the best members of ALL the teams in the league. But, when it comes to game-time, every player in the league has to show-up in order for the favorite-player to take the field.
