Hi There,

Currently I play in a band, and the CP40 is fantastic. It can handle any cover. However we all know the organs are not great. If you disable the effects for the organ patchs on your board, which is a few buttons on the panel; and run those patches through the BOSS RT-20, those organs improve 20 fold. I refuse to pay $500+ for the neo vent! I only want to use 1 board at gigs, and with the RT-20 pedal, I can get away with it!

Pete.

Peter,

I'm not sure I understand your question. Could you restate? If you are looking to play organ patches and only use the CP, using some effects to mod the internal voices can allow you to perform some really terrific organ sounds. I've received compliments on my organ patches both in the studio and after life performances and I've used the CP40 internal organ voices with some custom mod work.

Marc, can you offer any suggestions for internal mods to the internal organ voices? Thanks.

I apologize for the delay. I have a very busy performance schedule and on tour. I promise to return to this site next week when I return from overseas and will share very specific programming details related to modifying the internal organ patch on the CP4/40 to get the organ sound I was looking for.

Hi

Keeping an eye on this thread as this would help me decide whether I wait for a different organ solution.

Thanks.
