I recently bought an MX61. I have saved the parts (voices) I want for Performance 1 & 2. Starting with performace 3, the parts have all sorts of effects that carry over to any voice I assign to it. I don't know which parameters are responsible for the effects. Is there a simple way to clear the effects of parts or the whole performance that are not there when assigned to performance 1 or 2? For example, if I try to use Organ Jazzy 1 voice in Performance 3, part 1, it has this big echo effect that I do not know how to get rid of. Thanks.

When programming it is possible you have inherited an effect from whatever sound occupied the position you are editing. When wishing to start from scratch it is recommend that start with an initialized Performance.

I know manuals are no fun, but learning how to use them to look things up is an essential skill you want to add to your repertoire.
