I don't know if this is the right place for this or if it is even appropriate (if not, I apologize), but here goes. I have a Montage 8. I do live performances. I control the click. I want each performance in my live set to have its own click track stored as an arpeggio. I must be able to go from 6/8 to 4/4 to whatever timing and maintain SSS. I want to be able to control the click on/off by a key or button on the Montage. I do not know how to do this. I know nothing about arpeggios. I want to pay someone who can send me step-by-step instructions with screen shots on how to do what I want to do. I want someone who already has a Montage that can navigate their way through it. This is a one-time thing. Once I learn the process, I will be able to do it myself when I create additional performances. I also have Pro Tools and Melodyne if it is needed in the process. I posted a question earlier this week entitled "Change time signature on built-in metronome." Bad Mister posted my solution below:

You need something that can memorize tempo and time signature and be recalled when you recall the Performance. You don't want to have to adjust this click for each and every song while on stage. And you need to have control over starting and stopping this conductor click.

An Arpeggiator would be perfect for this purpose. Arpeggio data can be created at any Time Signature. And you can create any kind of click sound and accents you desire and route it to a discreet Assignable Out. It can be directed wherever you need it on stage. A "fixed note" arpeggio can be assigned to a drum kit sound. You can assign the entire drum Part to the Assignable Out, or, just the key or keys you use to create the "conductor" can be individually routed to one of the assignable outputs. (It's tricky, but very doable).

What remains to figure out is the best way for you, as keyboard player, to count-off and start the click arpeggio. You could map control over triggering the arp to a single key (when you touch the key it will begin and continue until you either toggle it off, or you press the front panel [STOP] button).

For example, in a situation where the drums start the song you'll want to start the arp with a separate (silent key) many use the lowest to highest key. Touch that key again to toggle the arp Off, or hit STOP.

Actually, Off is not going to be a problem, what you will need to work out for yourself is how you're comfortable starting the click and counting-in. (This can be a very "personal taste" thing. Some bands feed the conductor click to the drummer, and the drummer counts the band in. In such a case, you can just start it it and let the drummer count the band in... Then when appropriate, stop it.

You will need to (pre) assign the conductor arpeggio to the Performance you are going to use. This will also allow the Tempo and Time Signature to be documented and recalled.

How this will work when you can create your own Arps
Create the conductor click by recording it to either the internal (or your computer sequencer, if you prefer). You'll need to export a .mid file and load it to Montage. Once you have the MIDI data in the internal Montage Play/Rec function, you can convert this data to a User Arp using the Convert Type = FIXED.

A "fixed note" arpeggio plays back exactly as you played it... Within the rule of arp creation. Once converted to a User Arp you can assign it to any Part in any Performance. Set the Note region to trigger it, and in the case of a drum kit assign the outputs.

The only problem is, I can't do the above. I need some help. If you can help me, please let me know what it would cost, and when you could do it.

I am just milling around the different areas of the site here - haven't looked in here much at all. Given the post was so long ago - surely you've found a solution by now. In the future, posting to the Montage forum may have gotten better response. Maybe you did. I do not recall discussion there - but maybe I missed it.
