Hello all

I'm a very happy 2nd owner of an MX49, and I have a couple questions..

1. I am interested in creating some custom arpeggios such as the arp that's used in The Who's Baba O'Reilly. I understand that I cannot do that directly from the keyboard controls, but can be done using PC software. Can anyone tell me which software will allow me to create a custom Arp that I can load to the performance section of my MX49?

2. I'm interested in purchasing the original bundled basic cubase that came with the MX49 in the box. I just want something scaled down and very simple to learn. I'm sure there's a couple of you out there that were already Cubase users when you bought your MX and the CD is laying around somewhere unused. If so, I'd love to purchase it from you.

Contact me at miamibeachdoc@yahoo.com

Thanx!

You are under a couple of misconceptions. First, the MX Series does not have the capability of User Arpeggios. You would need to upgrade to the MOXF Series as that is the first model that contains the ability to make and store your own User Arpeggios.

The entry level version of Cubase AI is available free to the original purchaser of the MX synthesizer. Software no longer comes on a CD (outgrew CD size more than a decade ago, heck it doesn’t even come on DVD) The software is provided as a download. You are given an ACCESS CODE which entitles the MX owner to the download... the code is provided on a sheet of paper in the packet with your Owner’s Manual.

Bad Mister: Thanks for your reply. I appreciate the updated info.

So the MX does have arps, there's no way to manipulate them?

Also, I'm not the original owner of the MX.
