Hello, I am an owner of the Yamaha MX49 Keyboard. I have had it for about two months now and I just started using it to record.

I’m currently using FL Studio 11 on a Windows 10 Laptop.

The issue I am having is that the rhythm pattern is being recorded along with my piano playing and I don’t know know to make it stop.

Is there a way to take off rhythm pattern completely when connected to a DAW? If not is there a way to stop the data from being recorded in a DAW?

Thanks for all the help in advance!

* Here’s a video of my set-up for more insight

Press [UTILITY]
Use UP/DOWN Cursor to select 02: MIDI
Press [ENTER]
Use UP/DOWN Cursor to select "SEQ CTRL" (Sequencer Control)
Set SEQ CTRL = OFF

This will prevent Sequencer transport commands from your DAW from starting the Rhythm Pattern.
