I have connected my MX to my Reface CS synth using MIDI out form the MX to MIDI in on the Reface.
Everything works fine apart from rhythms on the MX that trigger notes on the Reface that cause a cacophony of sound.
As you are aware the Reface doesn't have any rhythms so I suspect this is probably the issue!
Please can you let me know if it is possible to stop my MX rhythm MIDI data triggering the Reface notes, apart form switching the MX rhythm off?

You need to introduce yourself to the concept of the MIDI Channels.
How to select them on the reface CS
How to transmit (communicate) from the MX Out via MIDI so that you can trigger the reface CS when *you* want to...
