Hello everyone and thanks to the creators of this wonderful forum! ... Sorry my english !!
Let me introduce myself: my name is Dario, I am 46 years old, I am Italian, happy owner of a Yamaha sy99 and a dx7 II FD ... unfortunately now both have problems!
After a year of low battery warnings I decided to change both the batteries of the two sy99 cards, as I already did in some synthesizers, installing two battery holders and respecting the polarities ... but on restart it is blocked on the network screen without possibility to change, factory reset does not work (by pressing voice + d + 8) .... what to do?
I am very fond of this harmony !! ... Thanks for your help !!

You need to contact an authorized Yamaha service center. You can contact Yamaha Music Europe GmbH, Branch Italy

They should be able to tell you where to get the instruments checked out, in your area.
I will ask our folks here if they have any info on the battery replacement - but contacting your local Yamaha is your best option. Let us know.
