- breath controller are not detected with auto select ? it seems that breath controller don't react to curve setting like another controllers, i have difficulties to
have a start with zero triggering it triggers always something even if the curve is set properly to not trigger at some point. i use a tc midi breath controller
it have an action curve setting too, i should have a look at that too.
-when you want to use a second foot expression controller, witch cc number we should choose when we want assign the pedal to control multiple parameter in control assign ?, for exemple the fc2 have cc11 from factory setting... for now i just use the fc2 with the modulation wheel cc number but i suppose there is a more elegant way ?

Not surprising the USB attached BC is not recognized by the Auto Select feature which detects directly connected controllers verses a USB connected controller.

Anyone that does not already have a "fixed" function assigned to it. Traditional is cc004 Foot Control, it is generic (means, it does not do something until you assign it to do something) It is available for whatever you wish to pile on it.

Considering breath controller is a destination for control curves - and the breath controller is no longer a dedicated port on the keyboard for internal use -- it must be external -- it would be great to monitor the assigned Control Number for incoming activity and include it in the "Auto Select" detection. The routine (for auto select) may not have visibility to incoming MIDI - but it seems like a reasonable question if it can be done without compromising anything (schedule, functionality, firmware size, etc).

Breath control may be in the "take it or leave it" category due to the apparent low connect rate of the controller judging by the traffic here.
