Howard Massey literally wrote the book on digital FM. In fact, his first two books, published in 1986 and 1987 respectively, were “The Complete DX7” and “The Complete DX7II.” He is a longtime journalist and music industry consultant who is currently the executive editor of the Yamaha Music USA blog. He has authored hundreds of online and print articles as well as more than a dozen books, including “The Great British Recording Studios” and the two-part “Behind the Glass” collections of interviews with the world’s leading record producers. Howard was also privileged to co-author legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick’s 2006 autobiography “Here, There and Everywhere.” He lives in New York.
