SynthBits: Woody’s Famous DX7 Presets on MODX

The FM Converter App on YamahaSynth is a clever cloud-based app the converts DX7, DX7II, TX802 and TX216/816 files to MONTAGE format. This is great news for MODX owners because you can load MONTAGE files into MODX. Woody from Woody Piano Shack has a few videos demonstrating this cool feature.

In the first video Woody shows how to convert and load DX7 presets into MODX:

Behind the Synth: Scott Brackett and Chris Wellock Chat

Scott’s MONTAGE and MODX Performances appear in MONTAGE OS v3.0 and MODX OS v2.0, including the Pattern Performance “Space is Fine”. We had a chance to interview Scott and his musical collaborator Chris Wellock in this weeks episode of Behind the Synth.
