This has been posted before first my Markus but I am hoping everyone can gather round and support myself and Markus and whomever this is bothered by.
On Live Set CP80 Comp (but you can choose any CP80 1 sample you wish on any live set) you will notice that if you hit the sustain pedal it does this ugly "loop" whhich goes on forever creating an annoying crossover or organ effect.
As Markus said as opposed to any other sample on there where you can hold the sustain pedal down, the sample sustains normally.
If I sustain the CP80 (1) sample with just my hands and no pedal?? It sustains normally.
Hit the pedal?? It's this major drone.
I am hoping even if you don't care about this sound to petition this to Yamaha as it's a clear bug and needs to be adressed immediately even before their firmware upgrade this coming September.
I personally rely on this sound and think it sounds incredible apart from that bug.
Please just say you support the bug fix so they know it needs to be addressed immediately.
Thanking you in advance.
Darrin
PS if anyone wants examples I am happy to share but all you have to do is hit that sample and sustain it and you'll know what Markus and I are talking about.

Thanks for the link...that's great to have someone so talented supporting this site.
Here's the answer from Yamaha today.

Hello Darren,

Thank you for your input - yes, this is a known issue and Japan does know about it. We are working on fixing it, however, more than likely it will not happen until September, unfortunately. There is more to the update than this issue.

Regards,
Charmain
