Hello Yamaha.
I just purchased my CP88 Dec.1.2019. How do I know if my unit has all the latest updates and how do I know when new ones are released? This question may have been asked by someone else already.

You can stay up on the latest for your product by visiting the Yamaha.com site for you region of the world. The CP88/CP73 has its own product Page with links to all the downloads and information about your product.
On the CP, press the [MENU] button
Turn the Knob to select “Version Info”
Press the Knob to Enter and view your current version. 1.20 is the latest
