Hello,
Our chorus owns a CP300 which we bought new a few years ago. It has been great.
One thing we never asked was how to properly store it.
The chorus operates only in the fall so the piano is stored for 6 - 8 months ( always inside in a "climate controlled" area ).
We have a soft case for it and it has normally been placed in a storage room. Sometimes laying flat on the floor, sometimes on it's stand, sometimes standing on it's back (keys up) and sometimes standing upright on it's end.
Is there a "proper" way to store the piano?
Thanks ..... Mike
Covered so that dust cannot get at it.
Climate controlled is a good thing.
Any way is fine excepting perhaps upside down.
Of course, the CP300 would be happiest (if you believe in such things) being played and enjoyed everyday. Seems a shame to lie unplayed for that length of time! 🙂
