Ever since I created some performances my CP4 now boots up in to Performance mode, whereas before I created them it would boot up to Piano 1.
Does anyone know how I can change it so the keyboard boots back up to Piano 1 instead of Performance mode?
Thanks!
CP4 is always in Performance mode ... it has no "voice mode". In other words, the CP4 is always in one Performance or another, even if the Performance # isn't displayed. When you press the "Performance" button, you aren't shifting in and out of Performance mode, you're just toggling the display between play (solid red light) and select (flashing red light).
By default, when you turn the unit on it is in Performance 001 (this can be changed to another Performance if desired). From your description, it sounds like you may have edited Performance 001 to change the main voice to something other than A.Piano 1. So you can either edit it back, or restore it from the factory set of Performances.
That’s correct. You can choose any of the 128 Performances as your “Start Up” Performance. That is a setting in Utility Mode > General > StartUp
This can be stored to your instrument’s System settings.
Thanks for the replies. The first performance I "created" was a piano/string split, so I probably did start with the Acoustic Piano 001, edited it, and saved it. It sounds like I'll have to edit my Start Up performance.
Again, thanks much for the replies!
