I want to transfer a piano recording made on the memory stick with my CP-40 to a Tascam RW900SL recorder and have no idea how to do ithis. Can someone help me or direct me to a source for assistance? --Rev. RT

You want to take that CP40 recording and record it to CD using the Tascam recorder, right?
Seems like you'd need to cable the L/R output of the CP40 to the analog L/R input of the recorder, select Analog input as the recording source on the Tascam, then play back the recording on the CP40 while recording it in real time on the recorder. I don't think you can transfer the file itself.
Or you can transfer the file to a computer, do whatever editing you might want, then cable the computer output to the recorder input and play it back from the computer while recording. Or just burn it to CD on the computer.
