I've been wondering if it is possible to use a foot switch of some kind to toggle between 2 performances? For example, I'd like to be able to use a simple foot switch to toggle back and forth between 2 different performances in a single song. I realize I can do that with the + and - buttons or the wheel, but it might be convenient to be able to use a foot switch instead. Or is there a way to do that within a single performance? Thanks.

No, sorry. There is no way to do that.

You have 128 Performances, assuming there is some finite number of times you need to toggle the Performances, you can simply copy the first Performance to odd locations and the other to even locations.
Now you can set FS to send PC INC (Program Change Increment). Say you need to toggle eight times ... Simply use one of the sixteen banks of eight programs for your back and forth movement.

However, I suggest you burn the extra half calorie and reach up and touch the provided buttons. It's easy enough, and there's no good reason not to use the buttons.

You're right, it's not a big deal to use the buttons, I was just wondering.
