Basically, I want to use the Crunch guitar patch for a solo passage but it takes a firm touch to get the sound I want and on some notes, it slips to the "soft touch" sound. Is there any way of making the touch lighter or turning touch sensitivity off so that it will make the sound I want all the time? I only want to change the touch for this one sound, not for all sounds - is this possible?

Yes. Choose that voice, then go into EDIT > PART > PLAY MODE and page down to VelDepth and VelOfst. Tweak those two settings (see Reference Manual p.18) until you get the touch-responsiveness you want. Then give that Performance a new NAME (see Reference Manual p. 15) and STORE the result as a custom Performance (Reference Manual p. 29). When you want to use that voice, select that Performance and your customized settings will be all set.
