I've had my new CP4 only for a week and already I am blown away with what it can do. I am getting familiar with moving around the editable parameters and am finding things I didn't know were there. I solved the S6 "overtones" issue thanks to Blake. From the start I thought the Rhodes patches were authentic but needed a tweak to get the right "bite" and "bark" for my taste. I thought the velocity curve would solve that but it didn't. I finally discovered the "VelDepth" and "VelOfst" in the [PLAY MODE] edit section. WOW! This really brings the Rhodes out nicely.

I have already created many performances, which in my opinion, are absolutely awesome! Many of these I name after the song or performer; for example here are a few:

Stevie Wonder (Superstition)
September (EW&F)
Michael McDonald (Minute By Minute, I Keep Forgetting, On My Own)
Steely Dan
Parazaider (a split piano/flute for Walt Parazaider's solo in Colour My World)
10CC (I'm Not In Love)....wow!
Supertramp
1999
Greg Lake (Still You Turn Me On)

The thing is.....this keyboard is FUN to play. The voices are excellent quality and make we WANT to play. The action is amazing. I can't wait for next rehearsal when I can bring this beast and show it off.
