Hello, i have a problem with this converter. When I drag the syx. file in the converter wan`t accept the syx file with message: (File) does not contain any convertable data. Please help

Hi Nikolay,
That error message appears (specifically) when it does not detect any data that it can convert. That is a specific error message that only appears when it doesn’t detect any data that it recognizes. It is not like the FM CONVERTER is not working — it is very much working. If it did nothing (showed no error message) that would indicate it is not working.
What is the source of this data (which FM instrument)?

I try any kind of data my own and from different web sites and the result is the same. Try also different browsers... same!
Bad Mister, can you send me a .syx file which work to you to try convert.

The attached is a DX7 syx file (zipped) - please unzip and convert.
The DX11 will not work.
The products that will are outlined in the “User Guide“
DX7
DX7II
TX802
TX816
These are all 6 Operator FM synthesizers. The DX11 was only four Operator and therefore, will not work!

Bumping this old thread
Came to think about the monster TX816 and set out to find the factory presets for it, and found them (but had to go via wayback machine) here: https://web.archive.org/web/20100819230809/http://soundofmusic.se/files/tx816_factory_presets_syx.zip
They will also unfortunately not convert (they give the same error as Nikolay got earlier).
