Hi Guys, Does anyone know how many FS1R's were manufactured?
Are there any other synthesizers with formants out there besides this one? Is it one-of-a-kind?

Not off the top of my head. Why is that number important?
Not that many... that's why they are hard to find. Those that have one tend to keep them... Quite a unique product - decades ahead of its time!

Mostly just my curiosity, the number really isn't that important I guess. I'm working on mastering mine (newly acquired) and I just wondered how many other people might be out there with the same interest. There aren't that many links online that still work, but with a few newer editors out there I just thought the number of active users might be growing.

I did finally find an answer to the original question. There were approximately 2500 FS1R's produced, just in case anyone cares.
