Hi Guys, I'm trying to install the SQ01 sequencer software on my PC for my Motif ES6 and it's asking for a Serial Number on the install. My disk doesn't have a serial number on it... I don't remember needing one the last time I installed it. My PC crashed and I've had to rebuild the boot drive. Any ideas on where I can get a serial number so I can reinstall the software? It won't let me install it without a valid serial number.
I tried installing on a different computer and it went right on, no mention of a serial number at all. Weird. I tried a registry cleaner too on the first computer, but it didn't change anything.
The software you are running is almost 15 years old... what it does on today's computer operating systems is unknown. You maybe the leading authority because perhaps no one else is doing so.
My goal is XG control of my MU-2000 tone generator and plugin cards in my Motif ES. Are there editors for XG on any of the more current DAW's? I didn't think there were editors for XG, the AN, DX, DR, SG, VL, etc plugin cards beyond the SG01 and SOL2 applications.
There was at one time Editors for XG, for PLG150-AN, PLG150-DX, PLG150-DR and PLG150-VL but this was sixteen years ago for Windows 2000/XP and earlier.
Yes, those are the Editors I was referring to, they plug into XGWorks, SQ01, and SOL2. I am not aware of anything newer. A modern editor could be put together using 'Ctrlr' as a basis for each of the PLG cards, along with one for a host tone generator, but it would take more than just one interested party to make it worth while. I'm currently hoping to upgrade slightly to SQ01. For some of us, sixteen years isn't all that long ago. Don't misunderstand, I have a Motif XF and Cubase, but I like the older hardware too. My favorite new toy is an FS1R.
