I am having a difficult time trying to reconnect my Motif XS8 with Cubase 7.0.7. Had software issues and had the hard drive reformatted. Starting right from scratch.

When I create a track and look at the Output Routing, it say's "Yamaha Motif XS (Not Connected)."

When I go to "Device Setup" there is nothing showing in the "Midi Port Setup" Window.

I do have an MR816X connected to Cubase.

In my Motif, I've used the USB output. I've not connected my Motif directly to the MR816X.

When I click on the "+" above Devices to add a device, the Motif is not showing up. So, I'm not sure why Cubase is not recognizing it.

Would appreciate any guidance on trying to figure out how to reconnect my Motif to Cubase 🙂
