Hello, I have an old Yamaha MO Series synthesizer, M06.

I am trying to set up the time signature of 3/4 or 6/8 for a new Pattern using Drums.
Would appreciate if any of you can help me in this area.

I need the steps to set it up .
Thank you very much.

Time Signature can be set for a Pattern prior to recording (it cannot be changed once the Pattern Phrase has been recorded).
And while each Section, A-P, can be a different a Time Signature, all Phrases within any one Section will share the same Time Signature.

Call up a blank Pattern, initially Section A is selected
Move the cursor to highlight the Time Signature (default is 4/4)
You can now set the Time Signature using the Data Dial or the INC/DEC buttons
Set the number of measures you wish to record before the Phrase loops back to the top...The Measure/Beat Counter will indicate your current location out of the Phrase Length you are getting ready to record. 004 measures is the default.

The counter will indicate 001:01/004

Press [RECORD] to view the Record Setup screen...
Record your Drums. Stop

Move to Section B
Set the Time Signature and Length
Press [RECORD]
Record your new Time Signature.

Each new Section will default to 4/4, change prior to recording.

I should add: you can change what sub-division the Click counts quarter notes, eighth notes, etc.
