Hi- I am trying to load a wav file and get an "illegal file" error. This was originally an m4a file that I converted using an online converter. I've attached the file if someone wants to analyze it and let me know what the problem is. This is a dropping bomb sound that I was going to use for the Gap Band song - She Dropped a Bomb on Me.

Hi everyone-

I did some further testing and the online converter allowed me to convert it into stereo and it works. The original conversion must have been in mono. Problem solved.

Glad you got that sorted.

I'm not sure if the importer "likes" mono even if the engine is fine with playing mono. I've "always" seen issue with mono WAVs and don't have issue if I keep all attributes the same but provide a stereo version.

What online converter did you use for conversion? I had tons of errors with a lot of online converters. I found m4a to wav converter yesterday. I converted a lot of m4a files and I did not receive an error to any of these. Try it out, it can't hurt to test it for your self.
