so ive had my modx for about 2 years now and i feel im pretty familiar with it, thats not to say i dont have to menu dive from time to time but my question is if i wanted to buy a hardware sequencer to run with my modx does it matter what kind i get, i guess im asking if the modx can take CV/Gate signals or would the seq. just have to transmit via midi?

side note: i would really love it if in the next updated they added a piano roll style sequencer into the OS
