Sorry, I put it in Spanish and I can't edit it.
Hi, I've noticed that when I disable some sounds on the keyboard, they are disabled on my ModX, but not on my controller.
Is it possible to split the sounds between the ModX and the master keyboard or controller?

For example, channels 1, 2, and 3 on the ModX and 4 and 5 on the master.

Use Zone Control.  Turn Zone Master on and turn Zone ON for all Parts.  Zone settings at the Part allow for you to turn off MIDI output so notes will not be transmitted to your external device (or change the MIDI output channel to a different value your external device doesn't respond to).  The same area you can turn off the tone generator for that Part in cases where you only want a Part to send MIDI but make no sound.

It's not fully clear to me what device you want to use the local MODX for the keyboard (direct) control for each Part.  Which Parts you want controlled by an external MIDI controller.  If that external controller has sounds then also what MIDI channels it responds to and which sets of keys are supposed to control it (MODX or external MIDI controller).

It would help to map everything out.  Part by Part on the MODX and MIDI channel by MIDI channel on the external device detailing which device is controlling what and which device (on which Part/channel) is making noise (and what you call that noise as in a patch name or Part name or just generic name like "strings" "bass" etc).

See this 'Zone Master' article by Bad Mister

Most all of it applies to the Modx as well.

Yes, when you want to create layers, splits or combination layer/splits that are a mix of both internal and external Zones, that is what Zone Master is designed to do. A Zone can be set to transmit to the Internal MONTAGE engine, or to an External device or, in the rare instance, to both.

Paul Drongowski has an article written specifically for the Modx - remove the leading set of hyphens to get a valid url
