Hi,
I'm searching a trick to prevent ARP playing too low because of a splitted kbd. For instance, when I play a G-1 key, I would like the ARP not to play at G-1 but G0 but when I play A-1 the ARP would play at A-1 because I would have set "something" preventing ARP from playing below A-1. Is this possible ?
Help appreciated.

This is done in exactly the opposite way you'd expect; a wonderful Yamaha idiosyncratic 'feature' that will serve as a good guide to their understanding of UX.
In Arpeggio/Common - Note Limit == range of notes that activate the arpeggio, not the Note Limit of Arpeggio playback. The Arpeggio ALWAYS plays back the full range of its notes, dependent on the input accepted through this "Note Limit" filter.
So...
You have to go the Part Common, and change the Note Limit there, and this "filters" what's received from the Arpeggio, thereby limiting the range of notes that make a sound.
Fair warning, this so baffles me every time I come across it, that I have to test before I get it right.
I am not at the keyboard right now, and may have said it in the exact opposite way that it's done, as I know it has permanently disoriented my understanding of how a split should ideally work with an arpeggio.
Thankyou Andrew π
If a adjust notes limits the way you describe, every note below the lowest limit won't play, and I don't want this. I would like the arp being played anyway but an octave above if limit is hit. Same playback as with arranger keyboards.
If you wish to press G-1 to trigger the Arp Phrase, but want the Phrase to play one Octave higher
Select the Part

Touch βArpeggioβ > βCommonβ
Set the βOctave Shiftβ = +1
I agree that the arrangement of parameters for ARP limits (trigger notes vs playback range) is counter intuitive.
It's not difficult to understand after you get bit by assuming the wrong interpretation a few times. It would be nice if parameters were not designed to intentionally switch meanings based on usage (if avoidable). Elegance is not yet realized due to some of these counter examples.

Hello,
I have already tested the parameters every one of you suggest but without getting satisfaction.
Actually, I would need a mix of "Octave switch" and "Note limit" : I would like to choose from which key the arp would be forced to play an octave above. Don't think it is possible.
